Starting Your Aquarium

Creating an aquarium can seem difficult at first, but with a little research and planning, you can avoid many of the pitfalls that trap beginning fish keepers. The fundamentals of both a freshwater and saltwater system are similar, though we generally recommend that you start a freshwater tank first if you’ve never kept fish before. At The Fish Store, we offer tank kits which we build according to the needs of your habitat. If you buy a new tank, top, and/or stand, everything you purchase to flesh out the tank will be 15% off!
